Tip of the week: Stand up and Move!

Evidence from the American Institute of Cancer Research suggests that sitting for long periods increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, cancer, and early death. Even for those who exercise daily, the average American sits more hours a day than they sleep. Driving, sitting at work, and watching TV are the culprits. Make it a point to take mini breaks at work. Stretch while watching TV. Go for a walk after dinner instead of sitting in front of the television.
